Severed Dreams
I laughed and cried and then smiled and then felt slightly sad again. I’m glad I found my princess already or this would have been a really depressing film.

For the parents of 8th graders, the transition from junior high to high school can be a challenging time. This piece casts a vision to the parents of incoming freshman to “keep their hands of the wheel” of their child’s spiritual life as they navigate the road ahead.
The opening sequence of this video is a 3D digital set integrated with live-action footage filmed against green screen. The haze and lighting effects were master-fully executed by Ryan Trommer.

The latest from Brooke Fraser. I love the color grading (reminds me a bit of the grade I did for “Life Awaits” – if I do say so myself). The directing is minimal yet smart – not too many shots but Brooke does a great job remaining engaging through each location change. Excellent art direction.
