STEAMPUNK: Keyboard Mod
If you’ve never heard of the Steampunk style, think 19th-century mad scientist in leather waistcoat with goggles and a pocket watch. It’s based on the scientific romances of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. Johnny Depp would fit perfectly in this world.
My brother introduced me to The Steampunk Workshop over Christmas and I’ve been hooked. It’s a blog of creatives showing off the work they’ve done to modify modern objects and vehicles into the streampunk style. These men and women are super talented. Anyone of these items would make a great prop for a film. There are steam powered motorcycles, a steampunk guitar amp, cars, and the list goes on. These artists not only tell you about what they made, but they also show you how they made it.
