INTERACTIVE VIDEO: Cold War Kids

There seems to be a trend beginning in interactive videos… this is the second time in the last few weeks I’ve heard about a group of videos that can be turned on and off “at-will” by the user to create their own edit of footage.  It’s a great idea…

The Cold War Kids took this idea and merged it with the 4-track recorder to create an interactive music video to their song “I’ve Seen Enough.”  4 video shots roll simultaneously – one for each member of the band.  As the song plays you can click on each musician to turn their instrument “on” or “off”.  So as you toggle the musicians, you’re both re-mixing the video AND the music.  The cool thing is that the song still sounds great even if not everyone is playing.

Pretty sweet….
